I’m Mike, the owner of Laid Well Roofing Ltd., a locally owned and operated Okanagan roofing company backed by 12 years of hands-on roofing experience.
Before moving to British Columbia, I spent years roofing in Ontario and owned and operated a successful roofing company in Ottawa for more than six years. During that time, we built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, honest service and attention to detail, earning multiple industry awards and maintaining a 5-star reputation built on real customer experiences.
When my family relocated to the Okanagan, I brought that experience with me and started Laid Well Roofing here in Lake Country, BC.
Roofing isn't new to me, and neither is running a roofing company. I've spent more than a decade working hands-on in the industry, and I still take the same approach to every project: do the work properly, pay attention to the details, keep the property clean and communicate clearly with the homeowner from beginning to end.
After my wife was medically released from the military, our family had the opportunity to relocate and chose the Okanagan to be closer to family and build our life here. We packed up our lives, moved across the country with our two boys, and started over in Lake Country.
This isn't a temporary market for us. The Okanagan is our home.
Laid Well Roofing was built here on the same standards that made my previous company successful: quality installations, attention to detail, reliable communication and genuinely caring about the finished product.
We aren't a large corporation or a sales-driven roofing company. When you contact Laid Well Roofing, you're dealing with a local owner-operated business. I am personally involved in the work we take on, and I stand behind the roofs we install.
Today, Laid Well Roofing serves homeowners and businesses throughout Lake Country, Kelowna, Vernon, West Kelowna and surrounding Okanagan communities.
